Amphitheatre Romain is an impressive piece of architecture, and one of the best preserved arenas from its time. It stands two stories high, and each floor features sixty arches built of large stones. Today it is used for ballet performances and bullfights, both quite different from the boar hunts and gladatorial combats once held here.
